Man arrested after police pursuit of stolen U-Haul in East Bay

A Los Gatos man was arrested on suspicion of driving a stolen U-Haul van and other charges after leading Vacaville police on a pursuit on East Bay roads Saturday morning, police said.
At about 10:30 a.m., Vacaville police officers saw a white U-Haul van that was reported to be stolen and tried to make a traffic enforcement stop, but the motorist, later identified by police as 26-year-old Jacob Mahoney, drove off onto westsbound Interstate 80, said Vacaville police Lt. Aaron Dahl.

th Street and Carefree Highway was officially recognized by the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management (DFFM) and the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) as a certified Firewise/USA Community. This is a voluntary prevention program designed for individual communities that are located within Wildland Urban Interface (WUI) areas.
