Young couple killed on their way to work: Inseparable and in love

KING WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. Chakayla Spurlock and Charles H. Fletcher III were inseparable and in love, according to Chakayla s mother.
The young West Point couple was killed together as they drove to work Tuesday morning.

Chakayla, 20, was driving a 1999 Honda Civic south on Farmers Drive in New Kent at about 6:25 a.m. when she hit a patch of black ice, Leslie Spurlock said Virginia State Police told her when they informed her of her daughter s death.
