Siam Tea Room, the authentic Thai restaurant at Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen s Park, is celebrating a  Taste of Summer  in Thailand with its new Khao Chae promotion. Throughout March, April and May 2021, diners can experience the fresh and fragrant flavors of Khao Chae, an elegant dish of chilled rice in jasmine-infused water with classic condiments. Literally meaning  soaked rice , this seasonal specialty originated in the Mon Kingdom, before it was adopted and enhanced by the Thai Royal court in the reign of King Rama V (1868-1873).
