ARMED police arrested five teenagers last night after a lorry driver was reportedly threatened with a machete in his cab. The victim was attacked by a gang on Kingsland Grange in Woolston at around 7pm on Sunday, January 31. His assailants fled the scene, and the police helicopter was called out in a bid to trace the suspects. Cheshire Police have confirmed that two 18-year-old men and three 17-year-old boys were arrested on suspicion of affray. Eyewitnesses said that two were detained by armed officers near to the shops on Pasture Lane in Longbarn.

The biotechnology company is to occupy the 65,830 sq ft Four Kingsland Grange, a detached unit that has been refurbished to provide quality warehousing space with two-storey offices. The Kingsland Grange complex is located in the centre of The Grange, an industrial estate east of Warrington town centre. Neighbouring occupiers include packaging and retail companies XPO Logistics, Hermes, Iceland and Fed Ex. Real estate consultancy Savills acted for the property’s owner Custodian Reit, a real estate investment trust, in the lease deal.

The company said the purchase price reflected a blended net initial yield of 6.1%. The 200,000 square foot portfolio was situated in last mile distribution hubs within the North West and the West Midlands. The properties were 100% occupied on leases producing a total rent of £1.22 million per annum with an average rent £6.10 per square foot.
