Improving hygiene at police stations stressed

Islamabad: Inspector-General Police (IGP) Islamabad Qazi Jamil ur Rehman has directed the concerned officials to improve sanitation and hygiene at the city police stations.
According to the details, Inspector-General Police (IGP) Islamabad Qazi Jamil ur Rehman and DIG (Operations) separately visited police station Kohsar and Margalla. They reviewed the situation of water, sanitation and hygiene in the residential barracks of the police stations. They also inquired about the day-to-day affairs from the officials at the Front Desk.
Speaking on the occasion, IG Islamabad sought shifting of vehicles parked in the police stations since long to some other places so that environment could be improved. He also directed the concerned for early completion of residential barracks in the police stations. Police ‘Raabta campaign’ continues

Islamabad : The officials of Islamabad police are visiting various residential sectors, markets, religious worship places with an aim to interact with citizens and enhance public trust in police.
Following directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Qazi Jamil ur Rehman, Raabta Campaign has been launched by Islamabad police to improve relations with the citizens and boost their trust in the police.
During this campaign, all Zonal police officials patrolled on foot in their respective areas and also visited various markets and worship places where they met with citizens, shopkeepers, traders and administration and listened to their problems as well as issues. The officials also briefed them about the initiatives taken by the Islamabad Police for safety and security of the citizens.
Police hold open court on FM radio

Islamabad : The police and local administration have assured the residents that they have been striving for early disposal of their complaints and provide them relief.
The police is holding live and physical Open Kutcheris (open court) on the directions of Inspector-General Police Islamabad, Qazi Jamil ur Rehman. A day earlier, SSP (Operations) Dr. Syed Mustafa Tanweer along with ADC(G) Rana Waqas held an Open Kutcheri at ITP FM 92.4 Radio from 5 p.m to 7 p.m.
According to the police officials, over 100 residents participated in the proceedings through call or SMS and apprised the officers about their issues. Majority of the cases related to district administration, CDA, Traffic, cases about land in the city police stations. The officers issued directions to the concerned to resolve the public issues.
