SRINAGAR: The killing of Special Police Official (SPO) Fayaz Ahmad along with his wife Raja Begum, 48, and daughter Rafiya Jan, 22, on Sunday evening in Hariparigam village of Tral has left the locals perplexed and questioning. SRINAGAR: On former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi’s 30
th death anniversary, the Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) on Friday paid glowing tributes to Former Prime of India Rajiv Gandhi on his 30th death anniversary and recalled his selfless services and sacrifices towards nation building.

Criticizing Jamia Millia Islamia for its decision to conduct on-line exams, the party president called the measure callous and isolated from the ground reality in Kashmir. “The announcement of the university to go for an on-line examination is incognizant of the ground realities in J&K, where 2G internet speed and frequent clampdowns on the internet service are common.
