Top seed Wizards District Gaming and No. 3 Hornets Venom GT rolled to sweeps in the NBA 2K League s The Turn Tournament on Friday night.
The $260,000 event, the second in-season tournament of the year, runs through Saturday. All matches are best-of-three, single elimination. The champion will receive $117,000, and the runner-up will earn $52,000.
In their first game, Wizards District Gaming jumped to a 20-5 lead after the first quarter and defeated Pistons GT 66-56, and in the rematch, they prevailed 70-61 to advance to the tournament semifinals.
John JBM Mascone led four players who scored in double digits for Wizards District Gaming, finishing with 20 points and nine assists, and Ryan Dayfri Conger added nine points, 13 rebounds and nine assists. T-Wolves Gaming, Knicks Gaming and Raptors Uprising GC all recorded sweeps on Saturday night in NBA 2K League action.
The other doubleheader of the night ended in a split between Magic Gaming and Wizards District Gaming.
T-Wolves Gaming took down Mavs Gaming 81-70 and 78-72 to remain one game off the lead in the Western Conference. Dhwan ShiftyKaii White averaged 21.5 points for T-Wolves.
Knicks Gaming blew out 76ers GC 81-62 in Game 1 and had to fight for the second victory, 86-84. T-Wolves Gaming defeated Mavs Gaming 81-70 and 78-72. Christopher Duck Charles averaged 33.5 points for Knicks Gaming.

Alex Bsmoove Reese averaged 32.5 points Friday to lead the Gen.G Tigers to a two-game sweep of Lakers Gaming in NBA 2K League action, 88-63 and 88-70.
The other three doubleheaders Friday all ended in splits.
Knicks Gaming defeated Raptors Uprising GC 72-67 before the Raptors claimed the rematch 76-69. Bucks Gaming dumped Celtics Crossover Gaming 84-66, but the Celtics won the second game 63-61. Grizz Gaming responded to a 66-57 loss to Magic Gaming by winning 75-73.
