On Friday last week, the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation Drinking Water Program issued a boil water notice for all users of the Angoon public water system.
The waterline failures resulted in one third of the community of 400 without water.
The Coast Guard Cutter Hickory crew loaded four pallets of water onto the ship with each pallet containing 1,700 bottles and delivered the supplies to Angoon Sunday evening.
