CT weight-loss camp under state investigation had previous violations in state

KENT A weight-loss camp for children that closed this week after state officials said they began investigating concerns about the safety of children enrolled had previous violations reported by the Office of Early Childhood.
Two state agencies the Office of Early Childhood and Department of Children and Families released a joint statement Tuesday announcing Camp Shane’s closure while they investigated “concerns about the health, safety and well-being of children enrolled at the summer youth camp.”
