Cops: Man beaten, zip tied as would-be robbers demand money from senior in terrifying home invasion

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. A knock at the door led to a frightening home invasion where a younger man was beaten and restrained with zip ties while the raiders demanded money from a senior in Bulls Head, according to police.
Now the NYPD is asking for the public’s help to locate a car that detectives are looking for in connection with the incident that occurred on Feb. 25 at about 6:30 p.m. inside a home in the vicinity of Dawson Circle and Arlene Street, according to a spokeswoman for the NYPD and a post on the 121st Precinct Twitter feed.
