Family offers $500 reward after their dogs were poisoned in DeKalb County An investigation is ongoing after three dogs were found poisoned in DeKalb County By Stefante Randall | March 9, 2021 at 10:19 PM CST - Updated March 18 at 3:18 PM ARONEY, Ala. (WAFF) - A DeKalb County couple who says their dogs were poisoned now have test results confirming just that. Now, they’re offering a reward to find out who did it. Tony and Deneen Bearden tell WAFF they recently received confirmation their dogs were poisoned by food found on a plate in the woods near their home. One of the dogs was taken to the state veterinary lab in Boaz, before being sent to Auburn University for further investigation.
