OnePlus launched its latest flagship device on March 31 and the Chinese vendor looks to compete with the likes of Apple and Samsung with another high-end addition to its portfolio.
OnePlus’ 8 Pro was one of the best-reviewed devices last year, so the manufacturer has quite a bit to do to ensure it continues its hot streak of impressive flagship devices.
It helps that the Chinese vendor has placed a clear emphasis on its camera and announced that its latest smartphone would feature a Hasselblad camera as part of a long-term R&D partnership with the Swedish camera manufacturer.

With its OnePlus 9 Series handsets, OnePlus has finally vaulted into the upper echelon of premium smartphones alongside Apple and Samsung. To do so, the firm received a much-needed assist from Hasselblad.
But before diving into the review, I would like to take a step back and quickly examine how OnePlus and its “Never Settle” mantra have changed in recent years.
With its earliest handsets, OnePlus was about value above all else: It provided flagship-level components with its own unique software customizations and optimizations via a single handset each year and a price that deeply undercut the most popular premium smartphones of the day. But this strategy shifted over time. First, OnePlus began offering a second “T” model each year, offering a refinement over the previous release. And then OnePlus began offering three or more models each year, usually with Pro, non-Pro, and T models.

When I was a kid, I was raised to like sports teams from Boston. The only problem was that back in the 90s, Boston s teams were awful. For example, it wouldn t be uncommon for Boston Red Sox fans in my family to talk about how we d never see the team win a championship in our lifetime. And whenever a team had a bad season, I remember being told that it s a rebuilding year. OnePlus 9 series including OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9R and OnePlus 9 Pro were in India last month. Now OnePlus 9 Pro users have already started facing issues with the handset.
OnePlus 9 Pro users are reporting of overheating issues. On the OnePlus community forum, users say that the phone heats up particularly when using the camera app. Most of the overheating issues are reported to be in direct sunlight when the weather outside was said to be at 21-degrees.
