Torrie Schutzman would drop in 20 points, on Saturday, highlighted by a buzzer beating three to end the third quarter and the Cody Fillies would bounce back to defeat Scottsbluff, Nebraska to earn a split at the Remax basketball tournament in Gillette, WY.
Cody opened up the game with a strong first quarter outscoring Scottsbluff 16-10 and kept up the momentum taking a 25-19 lead into the intermission. Kennedi Niemann provided the offense early scoring 11 of her 14 points in the first half.
The Lady Bearcats would open the third quarter on a run scoring the first five points of the quarter with help from a 1-3-1 zone that caused the Fillies some trouble. Cody would regroup as the end of the third quarter saw a 3-point contest break out that ended with a buzzer beater by Torrie Schutzman. Missouri Department of Conservation asking for assistance in poaching incident

Conservation agents are looking for information regarding two bucks found with their heads cut off and dumped near Highway J in Livingston County.
The Department of Conservation says the incident happened sometime between December 5th and 6th, and that both deer had been shot with large caliber rifles.
