PISGAH, Iowa - A western Iowa man faces first degree murder charges after being accused of hitting another man multiple times with a pickup truck.
The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation has released more information about the events that took place Thursday night at and around a Harrison County restaurant/bar.
Several people and family members were involved in a series of altercations and threats at Dave s Old Home Cafe, which ended in the death.
Kristofer Erlbacher is accused of striking Caleb Solberg numerous times with his truck, and then hindering anyone from providing aid by continuing to drive by Solberg s body.

PISGAH, Iowa (AP) A man has been charged in a deadly hit-and-run crash outside a café in western Iowa.
The Iowa Department of Public Safety said in a news release that one count of first-degree murder was filed Friday against 28-year-old Kristofer Allan Erlbacher, of Woodbine, Iowa. The investigation began just after 10 p.m. Thursday when the hit-and-run was reported outside Dave’s Old Home Cafe in the small town of Pisgah. Thirty-year-old Caleb Solberg, of Moorhead, Iowa, was found dead at the scene.
The release said several witnesses were able to provided details about what happened and that Erlbacher returned to the scene, where he was taken into custody without further incident.
