Falkirk artists display their lockdown masterpieces at Callendar House Works of art created at a time when the country was in dark despair will now brighten up the days of visitors to Callendar House. Thursday, 20th May 2021, 10:44 am While many of us were home baking or finding excuse not to work out along with Joe Wicks, a group of Falkirk area artists were busy grafting away at their easels creating pieces to show in Falkirk Community Trust’s first new Callendar House exhibition since the building closed in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Sadly the exhibition was only open for a matter of weeks before Callendar House was once again forced to close for the lockdown part two.

Wednesday, 17th March 2021, 11:31 am Callendar Park’s eye catching structure be illuminated by purple lights for Epilepsy Scotland’s Purple Day on Friday, March 26. Every year the charity to get politicians, business leaders, schools, health professionals and members of the public to think and talk about epilepsy and help raise money for those living with the condition. Epilepsy Scotland is also asking people to wear purple on the March 26 to raise awareness of epilepsy and donate £3 to the charity by texting PURPLEDAY to 70450.
