Total COVID-19 Cases In P-A Top 571-Thousand
(Harrisburg, PA) Officials with the P-A Department of Health are adding another 79-hundred-62 COVID-19 cases across the Commonwealth. That brings the statewide total to 571-thousand-551 confirmed or probable cases since the start of the pandemic. (Harrisburg, PA) Police are charging two men for their role in a robbery that started with a drug deal gone wrong in Harrisburg last week. Leonard Quattlebaum and William Hawkins are both accused in the incident on the 100-block of South Second Street Friday night. The 29-year-old Quattlebaum and his 20-year-old accomplice decided to rob a third man during a marijuana buy. It’s reported the gun used in the robbery was stolen from Swatara Township. The two are in Dauphin County Prison on 100-thousand-dollars bail.

Best friends who served for decades as firefighters in Lower Paxton Township have now both died of the coronavirus, their department announced Tuesday.
Edward F. Hine dedicated 55 years of his life to the Colonial Park Fire Co. He joined the department Sept. 1, 1966 at the age of 25, and filled various administrative and educational positions until his death last Wednesday.
Chief Witman served the fire company for 64 years

HARRISBURG, Pa. The Colonial Park Fire Company announced the death of Chief Emeritus Lee F. Witman, due to COVID-19. Witman served as Chief from 1963-1984 and continued to serve as trustee. He was also a big part of the department s fire prevention program, educating children and adults about the dangers of fire.

The Colonial Park Fire Companyregrets to announce the COVID-related Line of Duty Death of Chief Emeritus Lee F. Witman. Chief Witman joined the Colonial Park Fire Company on April 1, 1957 when the fire company itself was only 13 years old. Chief Witman held the ranks of 2nd Assistant Chief, 1st Assistant Chief and Chief of Department which he proudly held from 1963 through 1984.
