Thieves steal thousands of pounds worth of cigarettes and tobacco from back of Tesco van Opportunist thieves broke into a Tesco wagon and stole thousands of pounds worth of cigarettes and tobacco.   The incident took place at around 10am on Friday, when a Tesco HGV, destined for a supermarket in Blackpool, was being driven along the A585 Fleetwood Road.  A spokesperson for the police said: At some point between the Shell Garage close to Greenhalgh Lane and the Windy Harbour lights, the driver has stopped to let a vehicle turn.
