Colrain firefighters holding drive-thru pancake breakfast
COLRAIN The Colrain Firefighters’ Association will hold a drive-thru pancake breakfast on Saturday, April 24, from 7 to 11 a.m at Colrain Central School, 22 Jacksonville Road. Meals cost $8.
Town Clerk’s Office announces closure
SHELBURNE The Town Clerk’s Office will be closed on Thursday, as well as on Monday, April 26, and Tuesday, April 27. It will reopen on Thursday, April 29, at 10 a.m.
Town Clerk Joe Judd noted he will be stopping in during this period to check emails and phone messages.

BUCKLAND Firefighters from three departments responded to 11 Woodward Road on Sunday afternoon to extinguish a ceiling fire. No injuries were reported.

COLRAIN Hillside Pizza is donating money to the Colrain Firefighters’ Association for each gift card the association sells in a special fundraiser this winter. The last day to buy one is Saturday.
The Colrain Firefighters’ Association raises money to support the town Fire Department, often by buying specialized equipment that the town can’t afford, explained Jim Martin, a lieutenant in the Fire Department and a member of the association. The association has also helped firefighters with expensive medical bills or other personal financial difficulties, Martin said.
