Here s how Willmar Public Schools spent $52 million to make improvements across the district after voters approved a bond issue in May 2015.

WILLMAR Funding from the $52 million bond referendum approved in May 2015 was used for many building, remodeling and maintenance projects in the school district.
Jefferson Learning Center boiler replacement, $400,000; tuckpointing, $60,000; roof replacement, $50,000; other improvements including lighting and restrooms, $100,000.
Roosevelt Elementary School roof replacement, $240,000; fire suppression, $380,000; other improvements including a media center, collaborative space and corridors, $955,000.

Martha Look, of Lake Edward Township, was an elected member of her township s government since 1974. Some of those sworn in to elected posts recently might not have been born yet in 1974. Other people tried to get in for a few years, but I still made it, said Look, who retired at the end of 2020. Then after that, nobody tried.
Look grew up in the Brainerd area, where her family owned a small farm. She was the youngest of three children. Her oldest sibling was a sister and her middle sibling was a brother.

BIG PLANS FOR DOWNTOWN
After visiting reconstruction concepts and receiving public feedback, the city of Rifle made final plans in February to revitalize downtown with a new project slated for 2021.
