PEORIA  A member of the Peoria Public Schools District Board since 2017, Gregory Wilson is taking over the gavel this year in his new role as president.  Wilson, who served as vice president last year, was elected by his peers to the position formerly held by fellow board member Doug Shaw.   “He s a young professional and a strong advocate for children. He just has an all-around good personality and good ideas,” said board member Martha Ross, who has been on the board for 20 years and was elected to serve as vice president this year.
