A deputy with the Lafayette County Sheriff’s department responded to a two vehicle crash on Highway 11 in Gratiot Monday around 5pm. 46 year old Michelle Godfrey of Argyle was traveling on Highway 11 when she was rear-ended by a vehicle driven by 51 year old Carla McKinney of Rockton, Illinois. Godrey’s vehicle had moderate damage and was driven from the scene, and McKinney’s vehicle had severe damage and was towed from the scene. McKinney was taken to Monroe Clinic Hospital via ambulance for minor injuries. As a result, McKinney was cited for Inattentive Driving. Green County EMS–Darlington, Gratiot First Response, and the Gratiot Fire Department assisted at the scene. The Darlington Police Department assisted with traffic control.
LEWISBURG â The Central Susquehanna LPN Career Center (CSLPNCC) recently graduated 19 students.
In order to observe all COVID-19 guidance, the ceremony was held in the large classroom at the CSLPNCC in Lewisburg, with only faculty and 15 graduates present in the building. All COVID-19 mitigation protocols including masks, hand hygiene, and social distancing were observed. A Zoom audience of more than 100 supportive friends, family members, community partners, CSIU staff, administration, and board members attended virtually.
The program was led by Dr. Timothy Campbell, director of the CSLPNCC, and included a procession of the Class of 108 graduates; welcoming address; faculty introductions by Jessica Probst, RN, Nursing Education managing coordinator; and remarks from the class speaker, Carla McKinney, GPN.
