KALAMAZOO, MI – A free program that brings people together to network and then workout returns to Kalamazoo on June 1.
Run This Town Kalamazoo, officially known as Networkingout Kalamazoo, returns for its fifth year to Mayor’s Riverfront Park, 251 Mills St., for people to walk or run every Tuesday evening, a news release said.
The event aims to bring people together for networking and a group warm-up before people walk 2 miles or run 3.1 miles. It’s designed for people of all health backgrounds to be able to come together, the release said.

MOUNT HOLLY SPRINGS – A warm glow now rises above previously unmarked graves of 44 people who lay in rest in the Cedar Street Cemetery.
On Saturday, members of the Mt. Tabor Preservation Project and volunteers gathered at the historic African American cemetery to install solar lights on the graves that had no headstones.
It was the culmination of several years’ worth of work to memorialize a portion of the African American history of the post-Civil War era in this Cumberland County borough.
