   The Belmond home of Dalon and Sue Obrecht, 1008 Windsor Place, was destroyed by fire last Wednesday morning, April 14. The Brad and Jane Robson home next door to the south was damaged.   A neighbor called in the fire at 9:06 a.m. according to Fire Chief Dean Adcock. “Carmen Johnson said she noticed white smoke go by the window of her home and went outside to look. Her husband, Dan, called 911.”   The Obrechts were at work in Garner at the time. The Robsons were on vacation.   The Johnson house is just southeast of the Robson house. “There was so much smoke it was hard to tell which house was on fire,” said Carmen Johnson. “We ran over to the Obrecht house and somehow the garage doors started to open. That must have let air in. And then there was a big bang and fire was everywhere. It was so hot you couldn’t believe it.”
