The Indy 500 is just around the corner as Speedway gears up to welcome race fans back to Main Street.   “Main Street is probably the coolest place in Indianapolis, especially during the month of May,” said Robert Mills.  Last year, downtown Speedway took a hit after fans couldn’t attend and the race was pushed back to August.   “Downtown was pretty dead last year, so it is good to see people back out on the streets, walking around and enjoying the community again,” Mills said.
