The Montblanc Summit Lite is the German luxury brand s latest smartwatch, offering a slightly lower price and a new focus on health and fitness.
It s cheaper than 2019 s Summit 2 and the LTE-packing Summit 2+ that landed in 2020, the Lite goes a little lighter on price.
At £700 (â¬790 â it s not on sale in the US yet), it s $160 cheaper than the Summit 2. That s not crazy expensive in luxury smartwatch terms â it s way cheaper than the Tag Heuer Connected or Hublot Big Bang and around the same price as a stainless steel Apple Watch Series 6 44mm.

During 2020, a reported 1 million Britons took up running, and counting steps became a national obsession. Once, the best way to do this was through wearing a fitness band or carrying a mobile phone around, but today there is an array of luxury connected watches that combine the style and execution of a mechanical watch with the ability to link directly to any number of smartphone apps.
Today’s technical timepieces are not only expected to keep a track of a wearer’s health and fitness, they are required to do so much more. Several new models have appeared on the market in recent months, each one combining top watchmaking expertise with cutting-edge technological capabilities.
