Police have issued a warning POLICE have issued a warning after car doors and a house door were tried in Lowton. Officers were made aware of a man trying car doors off Garton Drive and surrounding areas in the early hours of Thursday. The man was seen on several cameras trying various car doors and on at least one occasion trying the front door handle of an address. GMP Leigh, Atherton & Hindley said: Please ensure that your vehicles and property are locked and all valuables are out of sight. Thankfully he was unsuccessful and didn`t manage to get into any vehicles and left empty-handed.
