All non-essential retail will be allowed to open a week later, with many traders relying on pent-up demand to see them through the rest of the year.
Trade is expected to receive a further boost from the second of June when hotels, B&Bs and hostels reopen.

As reported by Alan Healy of this parish, Cork native Micheál Martin “confirmed funding of €353.4 million to enable works for what will be one of the largest regeneration programmes in the State.
