A MAN has been hospitalised after his vehicle collided with a pole at Darra, just outside of the Ipswich area, on Saturday evening.
The incident occurred at the corner of Ashridge Road and Cardiff Road just after 8.30pm.
The man, understood to be the sole occupant of the vehicle, was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
He was transported to the Mater Adults Hospital in Brisbane in a stable condition for observation.

INITIAL: Police are responding to reports of a car that has crashed into a pole in North Rockhampton. The single-vehicle crash reportedly occurred on Bridge Street, Berserker, at 9.06am on Monday. It is understood the car involved was a Holden Commodore. One police crew is currently on scene. More to come.
Driver crashes into pole in central Fresno
Fresno police are looking for the driver who crashed a car into a pole in central Fresno on Tuesday.

It happened around 1:30 am at Palm and McKinley Avenues.
Authorities say witnesses saw the driver run from the crash scene. No one else was in the car.
The vehicle had not been reported stolen and was not being pursued by the police.
Investigators are working to determine whether alcohol was a factor in the crash.
A utility crew worked overnight to repair the pole and fix several low-hanging wires.
