The Orange-based corporate parent of The United Illuminating Co. and two of Connecticut’s natural gas companies has launched a panel of its customers and community members to get feedback on the operation of its utilities.
“The success of our companies rests upon listening to our customers,” said Frank Reynolds, president of UI.
The first meeting of Avangrid’s Customer Listening Council in Connecticut was on June 21, Reynolds said. Avangrid also has Listening Councils in Maine, Massachusetts and New York, where it has utility companies.
