Make Sure You Bring a Mask With You to Any Fort Hood Facility
Due to the recent rise in COVID-19 cases, Fort Hood has announced new mask mandates for anyone entering a Fort Hood facility.
KXXV Channel 25 News reports that everyone visiting Fort Hood must wear a mask inside all facilities. That includes service members, federal employees, onsite contractor employees, and visitors.
The move comes as COVID-19 cases in Central Texas are once again spiking. The CDC has declared Bell and Coryell Counties as high risk areas and the move also coincides with the Deputy Secretary of Defense’s Memorandum that came out on July 28 stating,

CASA of Bell and Coryell Counties in need of male volunteers to advocate for boys in foster care

BELTON, TX â A Central Texas nonprofit that specializes in mentoring and advocating for abused and neglected children going through the court and foster care system is in need of more male volunteers.
âOur volunteers and our supervisors are advocates for these children. Theyâre a voice for these children in the courts while their cases are going one,â explained Executive Director Kevin Kyle.
Volunteers donât just advocate for the kids. They also act as mentors.
