ROANOKE, Va. – As coronavirus cases decrease in our area, Carilion Clinic is set to loosen visitation restrictions for patients.
Carilion will transition its visitation restrictions from the yellow level, which only allowed adult patients one visitor, to the green level, which will allow for each adult patient to have two visitors per day during an inpatient stay.
At this level, hospital waiting rooms are still closed.
The following hospitals in our area will move to the green level starting on Wednesday, May 26:

ROANOKE, Va. – A coming change will allow many adult patients to now have a visitor with them.
Starting Tuesday at 9 a.m., the following hospitals will shift from Carilion’s highly-restricted red level down to just restricted visitation of its yellow level:
Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital
Carilion Roanoke Community Hospital
Carilion Rockbridge Community Hospital will continue operating at the red level remain until further notice.
Yellow level allows most patients to have one adult visitor per day, something not allowed while hospitals were at red level.
