The local assisted-living facility Bruce Villa Manor has gone high tech in its fight to protect its 90 residents from COVID-19.
The home is using an artificial intelligence-powered thermal sensing system developed in a joint venture between Windsor’s Data Realm and Toronto’s Eaigle to monitor residents’ temperature and mask usage.

The system has also been deployed in other long-term care homes, large retailers and corporate buildings in the province.
“I would recommend this to other long-term care homes,” said Bruce Villa owner/manager Vino Patel.
