ADM Energy has appointed former Africa Finance Corp. (AFC) chief investment officer Oliver Andrews to the role of non-executive chairman.
Andrews will replace Peter Francis as of August 2. ADM reported Francis was stepping down for personal reasons.

Mr. Shenouda brings over 27 years of experience in investments and fundraising in international capital markets, with a focus on infrastructure development, setting up new platforms and supporting management teams. He has deep knowledge of African markets and has worked across AFC’s priority sectors including Power, Transport & Logistics, Heavy Industries and Natural Resources.
Egyptian-born Mr. Shenouda was most recently the CEO of Zarou, a developer, owner and operator of infrastructure projects in Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia that is 100% owned by The Blackstone Group. Gambia - League returns with thrilling fixtures
After a ten-month hiatus due to the global Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the 2021 Gambia Division One League kicked off over the weekend with some mouthwatering fixtures.
With adherence to COVID-19 protocols, the Gambia Football Federation (GFF) received the greenlight from the Health Ministry to start the league.
The GFF says the top-flight matches will be played across three venues (Independence Stadium, National Technical Training Centre, and Live Your Dreams Sports Academy), whilst works at the Banjul and Brikama mini stadiums are expected to be completed by the end of February.
Real de Banjul kicked off their pursuit for a 14th league title with a 2-1 victory against resilient Tallinding United at the new Live Your Dreams Sports Academy stadium on Friday 15 January 2021.

He has successfully directed, developed and invested in numerous infrastructure deals in Africa, with a total value of over $40bn, and overseen some of the most significant projects on the continent. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, UK; the Royal Society of Arts, UK; and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
