SEATTLE Bill and Melinda Gates announced Monday that they are divorcing. The Microsoft co-founder and his wife, who launched the world’s largest charitable foundation, said they would continue to work together at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) Three Mexican nationals who died after the boat they were on capsized off Point Loma on Sunday were identified by the San Diego County Medical Examinerâs Office.
The Medical Examinerâs Office identified the deceased boat occupants as Maria Eugenia Chavez-Segovia, 41; Victor Perez Degollado, 29; and Maricela Hernandez Sanchez, 35.
According to the MEâs Office, Chavez-Segovia died upon arrival at UC San Diego Medical Center. Perez Degollado and Hernandez Sanchez were pronounced dead at the scene.

Contributing conditions for Chavez-Segovia’s death included injuries to her head and chest. Perez Degollado and Hernandez Sanchez each also suffered injuries to the head, the reports said.
The reports said Chavez-Segovia died at UC San Diego Medical Center; Perez Degollado and Hernandez Sanchez died at the Shelter Island Harbor Police Dock.
The 40-foot cabin cruiser was heading toward the surf near the Cabrillo National Monument Tidepools when it overturned and broke apart along a reef.
