Qatar to Build Residential Complex in Kabul

Kabul (BNA) The contracts for construction of residential buildings within ‘Qatar Residential Complex’ was signed in the presence of the leadership of the Ministry of Urban Development and Land (MUDL) between the Al-Gharrafa Charity Foundation and construction companies during a ceremony at the Kabul Serena Hotel here yesterday.
The construction of the Qatar Residential Complex would cost USD 110 million which would be paid and financed by the Al-Gharrafa Foundation, the MUDL in a statement said.
At the beginning of the ceremony, executive director of Al-Gharrafa foundation, expressed his gratitude for the immediate cooperation of the Ministry of Urban Development and Lands in transferring the required land and arranging a detailed plan for the construction of the township and pledged to implement the project at the earliest time, the statement added.
