MANSFIELD - The following restaurant inspections with critical violations were conducted by Richland Public Health May 7 through May 10:

Storyside Café, 541 W. Ohio 97, Bellville, May 7. Private water system not sampled or tested as required (critical). Person in charge (PIC) did not have a copy of the recent water sample. Copy to be sent to sanitarian by email.

Dairy Queen, 273 Glessner Ave., Mansfield, May 7. Chlorine sanitizing solution at incorrect temperature and/or concentration (critical, corrected during inspection). Sanitizer solution in buckets under the front counter at 10 ppm. PIC refilled solution to a concentration above 50 ppm. Working containers of poisonous or toxic materials not properly labeled (critical, corrected during inspection). Buckets of sanitizer solution under front counter not labeled with common name. PIC placed sanitizer in buckets with labels at the time of inspection.

Beverly Ann (Paschall) Norman was received into the church triumphant on April 27, 2021 in Weatherford, Texas. Memorial services for Beverly will be held Saturday, May 1, 3 p.m. at Bethesda Methodist Church Cemetery in Parker County.
Beverly was born on March 5, 1936 to Kellis and Atrelle Paschall in the family home. Beverly was a graduate of Canton High School and attended Tyler Jr. College until she met the Assistant County Agent that had been assigned to Van Zandt County. Beverly and James Norman were united in Christian marriage on May 8, 1955 in Canton Texas. James preceded Beverly in death on March 28, 2013.
Suspected DUI driver arrested after striking four vehicles, palm tree during rollover crash
A 26-year-old Chino Hills man was arrested Monday night on suspicion of DUI after his vehicle crashed into four parked cars and a palm tree before coming to a stop, police reported.

Costa Mesa police arrested a man on suspicion of driving under the influence after his vehicle crashed into four parked vehicles on 20
th Street before careening into a palm tree near Tustin Avenue shortly before 8 p.m. Monday.
Pablo Antonio Servin, 26, of Chino Hills faces at least one charge of DUI driving. It was still unclear Tuesday whether the suspect may face additional charges stemming from the damage sustained by the other vehicles involved in the incident.
Temperature checks halted at Oak Ridge Schools

Students, teachers and visitors to Oak Ridge Schools and all of its buildings aren t getting temperature checks as they enter the schools and other buildings any longer.
Jefferson Middle School recently tweeted that the change in policy began Monday, April 5. Bruce Lay, Oak Ridge Schools executive director of school leadership, explained in an emailed response to The Oak Ridger s questions Monday that the policy applies to all of the buildings in the school system.
“The CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) removed temperature checks from their recommendations several weeks ago, but we chose to continue collecting data prior to making this change,” Lay stated.
