The winter weather North Texas experienced has left so many people hurting, but there are so many others stepping up to help.
The team at local information site Dallasites101, has been posting to their social media, giving people information about where they can get supplies and help. In those posts, she has been sharing the many things people are doing for others to help.

People like Steph Grant, who acted with her nonprofit Promote Love Movement and United People s Coalition helping to prepare hot food for those in need in South Dallas. Feed the People helped organize the free, drive-through store for those who needed warm clothes. They even worked with Black-women led organization Say It With Your Chest to do laundry for people who were displaced at Camp Rhonda. This is something that organization does on a weekly

Caitlin Smith has received an offer to read English at Peterhouse College in the 2021 academic year. The offer came after Caitlin achieved a fantastic set of GCSE results while studying at Holyrood Academy and is set to achieve an impressive series of A Level results this summer. Caitlin said: “I was shocked and jumping for joy in my room as I read the offer. I texted my parents and friends and emailed (teacher) Mrs Challis and was so happy she rang and I was able to talk to her and share the news, I am still so happy just thinking about it.
EAST GREENWICH â For the past year, a local teen has been playing her part in encouraging others to âchoose love.â
The Choose Love Movement, founded by Scarlett Lewis after her son Jesse was tragically killed in the Sandy Hook Shooting, has worked with schools across the world â including Cole Middle School â to foster social and emotional learning.Â
âWhen I heard her story, I knew I wanted to help this organization as much as I could,â said eighth grader Mia Daley, who is currently organizing a virtual 5k race to help further support these ends.
Her involvement with the organization began thanks to guidance counselors and members of the student council who have embraced the curriculum, as well as her mother, who is a first grade teacher in the district and already had a focus on social-emotional learning.Â
