MASON TOWNSHIP, Mich. â The Cass County Sheriffâs Office is investigating a two-car crash that sent one person to the hospital.
It happened about 7:40 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Cassopolis Road and Redfield Street in Mason Township, according to a news release.
An initial investigation by the sheriffâs office indicates that a southbound vehicle driven by a 42-year-old Niles woman began to cross the intersection when an eastbound vehicle â driven by an 18-year-old Bronson woman â failed to stop as required.

MASON TOWNSHIP, Mich. â Police responded to a crash near the intersection of Grange Street and Cassopolis Road Thursday night.
A 36-year-old woman from Cassopolis was driving north along Cassopolis Road when she drove off of the road and collided into a tree, according to the Cass County Sheriffâs Office.
Weâre told she was ejected from the vehicle after the impact.
Police say the woman was the vehicleâs sole occupant, adding that she was taken to South Bend Memorial to be treated for serious injuries.
