WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (Purdue Sports) Playing its final game at Mackey Arena, the Purdue women s basketball team sent its senior off on a winning note Sunday afternoon with a 70-66 win over Illinois. The Boilermakers held off a furious fourth quarter charge by the Illini to close the home slate with a win.
Brooke Moore and Kayana Traylor paced the Boilermakers (7-14, 4-14) with 33 combined points, split 17 and 16, respectively. Moore was 6-of-13 from the field and totaled three 3-pointers. Traylor was 5-of-11 from the field and dished out a game-high seven assists.
Michigan State tops Purdue at the buzzer
Despite a career-high 31 points from Kayana Traylor, the Purdue women s basketball team fell 76-73 on the road at Michigan State. The Spartans were lifted to victory by a last-second 3-pointer by Tory Ozment.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) Despite a career-high 31 points from Kayana Traylor, the Purdue women s basketball team fell 76-73 on the road at Michigan State. The Spartans were lifted to victory by a last-second 3-pointer by Tory Ozment.
Traylor was relentless attacking the basket and setting up from outside, going 10-of-20 from the field, 4-of-7 from distance and 7-of-8 at the line. The junior also totaled five assists and three steals in the complete-game performance. It marked the fifth 30-point performance by a Boilermaker in the last six seasons.

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (Purdue Sports) The Purdue women s basketball team finished the 2020 portion of its season with an 83-72 win over Nebraska at Mackey Arena. The Boilermakers posted a pair of players in double figures with six others tallying at least five points.
Kayana Traylor followed up her career-high outing against Penn State with another 20-point performance. The junior scored 21 points on 7-of-16 shooting and 6-for-7 at the line with a game-high seven assists. Karissa McLaughlin found her rhythm in her second game back from injury, recording 13 points from 5-of-6 field goals, including a perfect 3-for-3 from behind the arc.
Huskers Complete Big Ten Road Trip at Purdue
The Nebraska women’s basketball team wraps up a two-game Big Ten road swing through Indiana by battling the Purdue Boilermakers on Wednesday afternoon in West Lafayette. Tip-off between the Huskers (3-2, 1-1 Big Ten) and Boilermakers (4-2, 1-1 Big Ten) at Mackey Arena is set for 1 p.m. (CT).
