MOUNT VERNON, Iowa (KCRG) - Cornell College will offer it’s new Iowa Promise Scholarship to help students afford the costs of private college.
School officials say it will bring tuition costs in line with Iowa’s three state universities. It awards Iowa residents $30,000 in financial aid. That’s about half the cost to attend Cornell, before financial aid.

Auburn’s Joyce Kimeli brought home both a gold and a bronze medal from the National Indoor Championship, helping Auburn to a 10th place finish.
The track and field team had the best week out of all the Auburn program, although the equestrian team beat a ranked team and the soccer team completed a “hat trick” of three wins against Georgia.
Other teams dealt with some losses, although many suffered them against ranked teams. Here’s a summary of how Auburn’s teams did this week:

TAC unveils concert-driven regional Victoria campaign via Bolster

The Transport Accident Commission (TAC) has teamed up with Bolster for the Small Town Big Sound campaign which will see several Aussie bands perform shows across regional Victoria.
The campaign is the latest for TAC’s Vanessa, with Small Town Big Sound set to push Vanessa’s ‘pre-think before pre-drinks’ message to young drivers across the state.
Alice Skye, Amyl + The Sniffers, Bad//Dreems, Birdz, Camp Cope, Elizabeth, Floodlights, Harmony Bryne and Kee’anh will play shows across Barwon South West, Mornington, The Grampions, Gippsland and more.
The Vanessa crew will be at every gig doing free breath tests and encouraging all attendees to plan a safe trip home.
