Mumbai, April 8 : Amid a severe shortage of Covid vaccine, Maharashtra s ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) leaders on Thursday slammed the Centre alleging stepmotherly treatment in providing vaccine doses, while Leader of Opposition Devendra Fadnavis lashed out at the state government.
State Congress President Nana Patole, state Nationalist Congress Party President and Minister Jayant Patil, senior Congress Minister Ashok Chavan, and other MVA leaders targeted Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan for his harsh statements against the Maharashtra government on Wednesday.

Mumbai: Causing a huge scare in corona times, thousands of youths took to the streets across Maharashtra on Thursday to protest the state government notification postponing the upcoming prestigious Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) Preliminary Examinations, leading to police carrying out a baton charge in some places to disperse them.
The MPSC 2020 Prelims, scheduled to be conducted on March 14, have been postponed for the 5th time in the past one year owing to the Covid-19 crisis, putting the future of many in jeopardy, students said.
