Donkey Kong Country 3 puts players in the roles of Dixie Kong and Kiddy Kong as they attempt to track down the missing Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong. Gameplay, as you might expect, is similar to the first two installments, but that obviously isn’t a bad thing.

Nintendo has finally revealed its lineup for the Nintendo Switch Online classic games this December. One of the games on the list is Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong s Double Trouble .
The launch completes the release of the Donkey Kong Country trilogy, after the first installment of the game was released on Nintendo Switch Online in July 2020.

Even though it has seen the rerelease of video games like Star Fox 2 , the Nintendo Switch Online has been criticized by gamers for slowly drip-feeding games compared to the Virtual Console system introduced on the Wii and Wii U.

Five new SNES and NES games are being added to the Nintendo Switch Online library later this week, Nintendo has announced.
Four new SNES games will be available as of November 18
th, including Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong’s Double Trouble!, The Ignition Factor, SUPER VALIS IV, and Tuff E Nuff. Only one new NES game is being added to the collection – 1992’s action-adventure Nightshade. You’ll find Nintendo’s new announcement video down below. The past year, Nintendo already added the original Donkey Kong Country and its sequel, Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy s Kong Quest, to the service.

Fans of the Donkey Kong Country trilogy on SNES, rejoice Donkey Kong Country 3 is joining the Nintendo Switch Online collection this month. The third game in the trilogy which is not quite as beloved as the first two, but is still well-regarded arrives on December 18, alongside four other games.
Donkey Kong Country 3 features Dixie and Kiddy Kong, on a quest to rescue Donkey and Diddy. The game introduced overworld vehicles and some new moves, and it still looks great in 2020.
