Sif Holding is to supply 70 TP-less monopile foundations for Van Oord for the 759MW Hollandse Kust Noord offshore wind farm off the Dutch coast.
Sif’s scope comprises manufacturing of the monopiles and storage at the MV2 facility in Rotterdam in 2022- 2023.
The company will start the fabrication of the monopiles in 2022 at its two plants in The Netherlands, subject to receipt of a notice to proceed.
Van Oord is contracted by CrossWind – a joint venture of Shell and Eneco – to construct the wind farm.
Sif chief executive Fred van Beers said: “We are grateful for the confidence Van Oord and CrossWind have expressed in their award of this project to Sif.
