The Cliffe Lane site in Baildon A PLANNING committee has approved plans to build four homes on a site in Baildon - despite objections from many residents. The Bradford District Planning Panel head that 35 people objected to plans for housing on land at Cliffe Lane - which had been submitted by T Hardisty. The brownfield site has previously been home to a college training building, but that structure was demolished a decade ago. At the meeting, held online on Wednesday, Councillor Debbie Davies (Cons, Baildon) said people were concerned that the houses would be next to a busy junction with Otley Road. She said even without these houses, the junction is so busy that most Baildon residents avoid it at all costs.
