Following the rules of the Ontario Municipal Act, Councillor Lloyd Wells declared conflict of interest during South Dundas council meetings regarding rezoning of a commercial property he owns next to the McIntosh Inn in Morrisburg. However, after unsuccessful attempts at rezoning the property, South Dundas council members received a letter from a business-owner asking them to support either of the two proposals put forward by Lloyd Wells.
