Four suspects charged in shooting death of Flint 3-year-old

FLINT, MI The Genesee County Prosecutor’s Office has issued charges against four suspects believed to have conspired to shoot a Flint home which led to the killing of a 3-year-old boy.
Desean Montez Davis, 25, of Flint, was arraigned Dec. 12 in Genesee District Court on single counts of charges of conspiracy to commit first degree murder and conspiracy to discharge a firearm in or at a building causing death.
Three additional suspects two 20-year-old men and a 21-year-old man have been charged with conspiracy to commit murder, first-degree murder, conspiracy to discharge a firearm in or at a building causing death, five counts of felony firearm, two counts of malicious destruction of a building $1,000 or more but less than $20,000, malicious destruction of personal property $1,000 or more but less than $20,000 and carrying a counseled weapon.

FLINT, MI Police have released the names of a Flint woman who was fatally shot earlier this week and the man who they believe killed her, who was himself killed by police.
Brittney N. Chatman, 30, was killed the evening of Monday, Dec. 7, in a shooting that occurred at 1824 Willow Brook Circle in Flint. Flint police officers and Michigan State Police troopers responded to the reported shooting at about 6:13 p.m. and found Chatman suffering from multiple bullet wounds.
