Open Air Markets Return To County Showground This Weekend
By Amy Shephard
A series of Open Air Markets which were held last year at the County Showground in Cowes, will make a return from tomorrow (Sunday).
The event, which was popular with Islanders and traders in the summer months last year, was organised to provide the opportunity to shop out in the open air, minimising the risk of Covid transmission.
This year, the opening hours have been extended to 10am until 3pm. And from July 19, some light entertainment and food outlets will also be introduced to the market.
