WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. After a 4-year-old was shot in his face in Winston-Salem, the child’s mother’s boyfriend has been arrested.
Tyshaun Grant Crump, 38, had a gun in the home and did not secure it, police said. On May 8, 2020, at about 12:40 p.m., an 8-year-old sibling of the victim found the gun and accidentally shot his brother, according to police.
Coshocton sheriff investigate two Tuesday morning crashes

COSHOCTON - The Coshocton County Sheriff s Office handled two traffic crashes mid-morning on Tuesday.
The sheriff s office investigated a motorcycle crash at approximately 10:52 a.m. at the intersection of Ohio 16 and Ohio 83. Deputies determined that Johanna D. Kaspar, 44, of Wayne County, was westbound on Ohio 16 on a 2005 Honda motorcycle. He accelerated at the traffic light and wound up laying the bike down on the road on its side. The sheriff s office said Kaspar declined to file a damage report and was not injured. Coshocton County Emergency Medical Services assisted on scene.

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - Charleston County Emergency Medical Services will now be wearing new and improved Personal Protective Equipment on calls.
Charleston County EMS Director David Abrams says they have been working since last year to get this equipment.
The devices are Powered Air Purifying Air Respirators, and Abrams says they provide two and half times more protection than the N95 masks they are currently using.
Charleston County EMS Division Chief Carl Fehr says the added protection is not the only good thing about the new devices.
Lawrence man arrested on attempted 2nd degree murder charge

KANSAS CITY, Mo. â A 26-year-old Lawrence man is being held on an attempted second-degree murder charge in Jackson County, Kansas.
Anthony Deshaun Edwards was arrested after Jackson County Sheriffâs officers responded around 2:41 p.m. on Sunday to a domestic violence call in the 14000 block of South Road, south of Mayetta.
A 911 caller reported that a woman was âlying on the floor of the residence, while the male was pacing nearby,â according to a news release.
The woman was transported to an area hospital, while Edwards was booked in Jackson County Jail. His bond is set at $250,000.
