60 Minutes Goes After the Wrong Governor, but I m Sure They Don t Care

California Governor s Office via AP As our RedState team has covered here, here, here, and here, 60 Minutes decided to use its once hallowed Sunday news program to do a hit piece on Florida Governor Ron DeSantis who, in case you didn’t know it, happens to be a Republican exposing that DeSantis’ choice of Publix for the state-wide vaccine distribution had to do with campaign contributions. Jennifer Van Laar reported, Alfonsi alleged that wealthy Palm Beach County seniors “cut the line” to get access to the vaccine. She’d been reporting around Palm Beach County for three months, she said, and there was a large disparity in vaccine access between “old-monied millionaires but also some of the poorest day laborers and farm workers in America,” and that it had “deteriorate[d] into a virtual free for all…as some wealthy and well-connected residents cut the line, leaving other Floridians without a fair shot.”

Newsom Claims He Is Taking the Recall Very Seriously by Blaming Republicans and Q-Anon

This Recall has moved past the point of interesting, to no-holds-barred tomfoolery. And none more foolish than its object, Governor Hair Gel himself. CNN, POLITICO, the SacBee, all carrying his water for him, breathlessly reporting that Newsom is “fighting back”. Uh Huh. California Gov. Gavin Newsom launched a new campaign Monday denouncing a recall effort against him and blasting the calls for his ouster as a Republican-backed movement supported by “anti-vaxxers, Q-Anon conspiracy theorists and anti-immigrant Trump supporters.”

Gavin Newsom s Address: Less About the State of the State, More About the State of His Empty Soul

“So to the California critics, who are promoting partisan power grabs and outdated prejudices and rejecting everything that makes California great, we say this: We will not be distracted from getting shots in arms and our economy booming again,” the often-rushed and off-kilter Newsom declared in what likely will be one of his stump-speech applause lines once the looming recall kicks in and a special election is underway. This is the sociopathic delusion of a person who lacks any form of self-awareness, and only knows how to gaslight, obfuscate, and burnish turds. Even when confronted with truth, he dances around (literally), and fails to confront the truth straight on.

Washington Governor Jay Inslee Joins the League of COVID Nursing Home Governors

AP Photo/Susan Walsh Last week, I wrote about New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s nonstarter of a press conference, and pointed out the real issue that should get him impeached and put on trial: His emergency powers order that led to the murder of thousands of elderly in nursing homes. Really, there should be both state and federal investigations mounted against Cuomo, as well as the other four governors who are complicit in using their emergency powers to force COVID positive patients into nursing homes. These corrupt cretins murdered vulnerable elderly patients by the thousands, and then massaged and covered up the actual numbers. How these geniuses thought they could do this, while bragging and burnishing their supposed leadership credentials on how well they were doing with the pandemic reflects just how power mad and arrogant they had become.

Despite Evidence to the Contrary, Gavin Newsom Still Thinks He s King

AP Photo/Damian Dovarganes, File California Governor Gavin Newsom’s approval rating is plummeting like a boulder in Hume Lake. The efforts by California constituents of every stripe to Recall him is looking more and more successful as each day passes with 1.8 million signatures collected. Yet, Newsom continues to beclown himself by tweeting nonsense at Republican governors who listen to their people and actually know how to run their states. My colleague Sister Toldjah recapped: We reported yesterday on how both Texas and Mississippi made big announcements Tuesday regarding the lifting of certain COVID-related mandates. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and Mississippi Gov. Tate Reeves, both Republicans, lifted their mask mandates and set the stage for businesses in their respective states to be able to be fully open and operational again.
