The Indian start-ups of today are the Multinational Corporations of tomorrow that can go a long way in achieving the goal of Atmanirbhar Bharat , Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Saturday.
The last few decades saw Multinational Corporations from abroad do business and prosper in India but this decade will belong to the Indian MNCs, he said, after after laying the foundation stone for the permanent campus of IIM-Sambalpur in Odisha through video conference.

New Delhi, Jan 1 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of the permanent campus of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Sambalpur, on January 2 at 11 a.m. via video-conferencing.
Odisha Governor Ganeshi Lal and Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik along with Union Ministers Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank , Dharmendra Pradhan and Pratap Chandra Sarangi will also be present on the occasion. The ceremony will be virtually attended by more than 5,000 invitees, including officials, industry leaders, academicians and students, alumni and faculty of IIM, Sambalpur.

Sambalpur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to lay the foundation stone for the permanent campus of IIM Sambalpur in Odisha virtually on January 2, 2021, officals said Thursday.
The work on the campus will be completed on April 2022 and will be a fully equipped state-of-art structure with energy efficient green features as per the GRIHA’ standards, director of IIM Sambalpur, Prof Mahadeo Jaiswal said.
The new and permanent campus of the institute will have green features with maximum use of renewable energy. The heritage and art of Odisha will also reflect in the building design, Jaiswal added.
